Kaduna’s Road Safety Guardians

Welcome to the official website of the Kaduna State Traffic Law Enforcement Authority (KASTLEA). Established in 2017 by the Kaduna State House of Assembly, we are tasked with enforcing traffic rules and regulations to ensure road safety and public peace across the state.

    Governor of Kaduna State

    Senator Uba Sani is a Nigerian politician who is the Governor of Kaduna State whose tenure started in May 2023. He was previously the Senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District from 2019 to 2023. He had also served as a Senior Special Assistant to President Olusegun Obasanjo, a Special Adviser to the Minister of the FCT on Political Affairs, and a Special Adviser on Political Affairs and Intergovernmental Relations to Governor Nasir El-Rufai.

    Carla Abdulmalik serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Kaduna State Traffic Law Enforcement Authority (KASTLEA), bringing dedication and leadership to the mission of ensuring road safety and order across Kaduna State. With a commitment to enforcing traffic laws and enhancing public awareness, she oversees KASTLEA’s operations from its headquarters on Sokoto Road, Kaduna. Under her guidance, the authority strives to decongest roads, regulate vehicles, and educate citizens, aligning with her vision to make Kaduna a model for traffic safety in Nigeria. Her leadership reflects a passion for public service and a focus on innovative solutions to improve the state’s traffic ecosystem.
