As we celebrate the blessed occasion of Eid al-Adha, I, Carla Abdulmalik, Corps Marshal/Chief Executive Officer of Kaduna State Traffic Law Enforcement Authority (KASTLEA), on behalf of the Management and Staff of the Authority, extend warm felicitations and heartfelt goodwill to our visionary Executive Governor of Kaduna State, His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Uba Sani CON, the Deputy Governor of Kaduna State, Her Excellency, Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, distinguished members of the Kaduna State Executive Council, our respected Religious leaders, traditional leaders, Stakeholders, Partners, transport unions, security agencies, road users, motorists, Muslim faithful, and all residents of our dear State. Eid al-Adha is a season of sacrifice, love, obedience, peace, and unity. As we commemorate this sacred celebration, I pray Almighty Allah (SWT) grants us peace, prosperity, protection, and continued harmony in Kaduna State and across our nation.
In line with our commitment to safeguarding lives and ensuring smooth traffic flow during the festive period, KASTLEA has put in place strategic measures to ensure a hitch-free celebration. These include intensified traffic control and surveillance across major roads, deployment of KASTLEA marshals to critical traffic flashpoints, enhanced patrol operations, collaboration with sister security and emergency response agencies, prompt response to road incidents, and public sensitization on traffic safety compliance. I wish to strongly advise all motorists, commercial drivers, transport operators, and road users to exercise patience, avoid reckless driving, over-speeding, dangerous overtaking, drunk driving, overloading, and all forms of traffic violations. Kindly ensure your vehicles are roadworthy, obey traffic signs, and prioritize safety at all times, as no celebration is worth the loss of a life.
Let us all celebrate responsibly, uphold the spirit of peace and togetherness, and support one another in building safer roads and a safer Kaduna State. On behalf of KASTLEA, I wish all Muslim faithful and the general public a peaceful, joyous, and accident-free Eid al-Adha celebration.
